1. As Harry Smith tell us...tells us, it's legally possible that future Duchess of Cornwall could go by another name.

2. She insists it will never happen, there will never be a Queen Camilla, that the nearest she will get to a crown is the one placed on the head of her future husband. But constitutional experts disagree. As the law stands, they argue, Camilla will automatically become Queen when Charles becomes King.
And the Labor MP who forced this admission from the government today in a Commons question says the law will now have to be changed.

"The only way Camilla Parker Bowles will not become queen is if there is an act of Parliament passed here at Westminster but also in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other parliaments around the world. So they have a problem. But it's a problem of their making I have to say."
3. Royal experts say there is no need for a change in the law because, although legally Camilla could be queen, she and Charles have decided she will not.

"I do not think that Prince Charles wishes to foist Camilla on the British people as queen if we don't wish that. He's already said that. He's happy with her being princess consort, so is she. He realizes at the end of the day that the monarchy doesn't exist for his benefit, it exists for ours. But he does want this woman beside him."
4. And soon that's exactly what he will have although questions about the marriage simply refuse to go away. Given the controversy it's already aroused, they may feel that Camilla's title many years down the line is the least of their problems. Harry Smith, ITV News.
