1. Meanwhile in Sri Lanka, police say a train struck a bus in north of the capital, killing at least 37 people, injuring 60. And authorities say the bus driver is entirely to blame for that accident. Yunice Yun has more.

2. An ambulance rushes to one of Sri Lanka's worst train accidents in years. Northeast of the capital Colombo, hundreds gathered after a train smashed into a crowded bus. Authorities say try to run a crossing gate.
3. Clothing still hangs on the train's engines which dragged the bus at least 100 meters down the tracks at half past eight local time. The bus carried more than 70 people. One survivor said she saw flames coming from the front of the bus, and there was little time to do anything.
4. Sri Lankan authorities blame the bus's driver.

"This is entirely due to the negligence of the private bus driver. We are continuing further investigations."
5. The bus driver and his conductor are among the survivors. Rescue teams pulled bodies from the burnt-out bus. Railway officials say none of the train's passengers or crew were hurt. The government expressed its condolences for the tragedy. Yunice Yun, CNN, Hongkong.

2. 근래 들어 최악의 열차사고로 기록될 현장에 응급차가 출동합니다. 콜롬보에서 북동쪽으로 떨어진 이 곳, 열차 사고 현장에 수 백명이 모여들었습니다. 경찰은 버스가 철도 건널목 차단기를 무리하게 지나려다 사고가 발생했다고 전했습니다.
3. 아직도 열차 엔진에는 희생자의 옷가지가 걸린 채 있습니다. 열차는 70여 명의 탑승객을 타운 버스를, 선로를 따라 100미터 이상 끌고 갔습니다. 한 탑승객은 기관차에서 연기가 나는 것을 목격했지만 손 쓸 겨를이 없었다고 전했습니다.
4. 스리랑카 당국은 버스 운전사에게 모든 책임이 있다고 밝혔습니다.

5. 버스 운전사와 열차 기관사 모두 생존했습니다. 구호요원은 전소된 버스에서 피해자 시신을 수습했으며, 열차 승객 중에는 사상자가 없습니다. 당국은 유가족에 깊은 애도를 표했습니다.
