2. The ultimate in environmentally friendly transportation, of course, is your own two legs. But if walking seems like too much work, consider Toyota's transport of the future, the i-unit. Toyota calls it a wearable vehicle, carrying you indoors and out. Toyota's technicians let us take it for a spin.
3. It has two modes. A walking mode that keeps you on eye level with other pedestrians at a maximum speed of 6 kilometers an hour. The speed mode reclines the i-unit and converts it into a car, designed to go on public roads with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour. I-unit's inventor explains.

4. Sensory devices warn you when an object is approaching and a stereo system plays music. All controlled with a touch of your finger. Toyota is also developing a personal identification system that will read the palm of your hand instead of using an ignition key. 4. 물체의 접근을 알리는 감지 신호도 있으며, 차 안에선 음악도 들을 수 있습니다. 모두 손가락 하나로 작동됩니다. 도요타는 손바닥을 통해 신원을 확인할 수 있는 시스템도 개발 중입니다. 열쇠로 시동을 걸 필요가 없어지게 되는 겁니다. 아이 유닛엔 휴대폰 사용과 인터넷 접속 기능도 추가될 예정입니다. 도요타의 미래형 자동차 개발이 계속 발전한다면, 자동차가 말 그대로 우리의 일부가 될 날도 멀지 않은 것 같습니다.
