1. Well, some extraordinary pictures and video of humans interacting with wild animals are on display in California. They are the work of Canadian born artist Gregory Colbert whose project is called “Ashes and Snow.” Here’s an eye-popping sample.

2. “When you are working with, with, nature’s living masterpieces, my collaboratives, I just want present, it’s, this Ashes and Snow is a collaboration between 45 different species. Or I should say 46, cause that’s included human beings.
3. When I started this project 14 years ago, and since then there’s been 34 <b>expeditions</b>, it’s been a work in progress, it still is a work in progress. What you are seeing here is what I saw when I looked through the lens of my camera. There’s no trickery. You have to be in the shade to contact, create the trust, and <b>invite</b> the collaboration.
That may take two weeks, that may take three months, that may take two years, I don’t know.
Whales are much more timid, and that work took place over the period of two and a half years. What I’m trying to do is not interfere with their lead, cause they’re the protagonist.
4. It’s a falcon. It’s actually flying past the monk in meditation, probably going about 160 miles an hour.
This cheetah was out and going to this termite <b>mound</b> with the sand marking that spot. So we did, we kept going back, over and over again, and then….
5. Everyone has a capacity for the wonderment of nature. We’ll have, you know, the hairs in the back of the neck will be singing in the space. The best measurement that you know you are in a place where you’ve gotten something that’s just extraordinary is when you, you almost stop breathing. I’ve stopped breathing quite a few times in the last 14 years."

"고래는 겁이 많고 소심합니다. 2년 반에 걸쳐 작품을 완성했습니다. 작품의 주인공인 동물들이 리드할 수 있도록 내버려 둡니다"
4. "명상 중인 스님 앞을 날아가는 매의 장면을 포착한 겁니다. 시속 160마일의 속도로 날아가고 있었습니다."
"이 사진은 치타가 자주 가는 흰개미산의 중앙에 위치를 잡아놓고, 치타가 그 위치에 앉기를 기다려 찍은 겁니다."
